After 10 years of being jobless, 36-year-old Moses Motwaro, who graduated from the University of Nairobi, finally secured a position at ICS Technical College.
In desperation, Motwaro asked for help from Nairobi County official Geoffrey Mosiria, seeking to be connected with potential employers.
He shared with TUKO.co.ke that the job has caused him a lot of relief, and he hasn't felt that way in 10 years.

2. Grade 10 Boy Gets Full Sponsorship After One SMS Moves Bank CEO Alumni
Julius Mwaniki, a bright Grade 10 student from Gakima Primary School in Mukurweini, was stranded at home after scoring an impressive 66 points in KJSEA but lacked school fees.
Despite the financial hardship, Julius reported to Kagumo High School without a single cent, hoping for a breakthrough. Former MP Anthony Kiai learned about the boy’s plight after being alerted by a Kagumo High teacher and receiving documents showing Julius’ admission was at risk.
Kiai reached out to Kagumo High alumni, triggering swift action and overwhelming goodwill from former students.

3. Kethi Kilonzo: Brilliant lawyer emerges top student in UK exam in Kenya, ranks 23rd globally
Renowned lawyer Kethi Kilonzo made Kenyans proud when she emerged as the best student in Advanced Taxation-UK among peers who also wrote the same exam.
The lawyer comes from a family of brilliant advocates; her late dad, former senator Mutula Kilonzo, was the founder of Kilonzo & Co Advocates.
She was also ranked 23rd globally in the ACCA's challenging Advanced Taxation exam and celebrated by the Kenyan community for her achievement.
Having passed with such flying colours, it is apparent that Kethi can advise her clients on complex matters related to UK tax.

4. A Kenyan Grade 8 teacher leaks chats after old friend reaches out, mocks her profession
A Kenyan teacher, Lizzie, grabbed headlines after exposing WhatsApp messages from an old village friend who mocked her because of her profession.
Instead of exchanging greetings, the friend belittled Lizzie for teaching at a Junior Secondary School (JSS), even adding a trashcan emoji to his WhatsApp message.
A shocked Lizzie clapped back and asked if mocking her profession was the reason he had reached out after two years of not talking to her.

5. Pain as Machakos woman allegedly poisons her 3 kids after call about hubby’s suspected infidelity
Linet Munala is suspected of poisoning her children amid claims of her husband's alleged infidelity in Nairobi, as she remained with their kids in Machakos.
When authorities arrived, they discovered the lifeless bodies of the children in their chaotic apartment in Machakos, showing a family that had just eaten and was ready for another day at school.
The tragic event sparked emotional reactions as well as discussions among Kenyans on social media, with many wondering why the woman had to take such tragic actions.

12 Grade 10 Students Helped to Join High School
Last week, a total of 800,000 Grade 10 students were stranded at home as other students trooped to school, looking smart in new uniforms.
When Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja heard that some of his constituents were still at home, he awarded scholarships to 12 of them to aid them in joining various high schools.
When Ian Godfrey and his mother, Rehema, were shedding tears of joy after being denied admission to Jamhuri Boys High School, they did not know that help was only a social media post away.
