Jacob Elordi has us swooning over here!

As you know, the 28-year-old actor stars as Heathcliff in the upcoming adaptation of Emily Brontë‘s 1847 novel, Wuthering Heights. Margot Robbie plays his childhood friend/love interest Catherine. If you haven’t seen the trailer, check it out (below):

While filming the movie, it turns out Jacob decided to step into character and blow Margot away with a thoughtfully planned Valentine’s Day gift! The actress recalled in a joint interview for Vogue Australia last week that the Euphoria star gave her a ton of roses:

“We were shooting on Valentine’s Day. You made my day and, as Heathcliff, filled my room with roses.”

Not only that, Jacob gifted her a bunch of notes written from the perspective of his character and “a little tombstone thing,” which is symbolic for the movie. Aww! How sweet! While the Frankenstein star pulled out all the stops to surprise Margot on the holiday, what did she do? Apparently, NOTHING! Jacob revealed she did not do any grand gestures for him in return, but he didn’t care! He was proud of himself instead, saying:

“I think when I did it, I felt like I beat you.”

Margot agreed, saying she immediately thought he was likely a great boyfriend IRL:

“You definitely beat me. Yours was so epic… I remember thinking on Valentine’s Day, oh he’s probably a very good boyfriend, ’cause there’s a lot of thoughtfulness in this. You did a lot of very thoughtful things. … I was like, ah, crafts! Love that. It was crafty, it was meaningful, it was dramatic.”

Someone needs to ask Olivia Jade to confirm! Ha!

If Jacob already had you blushing, just wait! The Kissing Booth alum revealed he wasn’t even scheduled to film that Valentine’s Day! He just showed up to sweep Margot off her feet on his day off! He added:

“I had to hear if you were shooting as well, because I wasn’t at work that day.”

The reveal shocked Margot, who responded:

“You are absolutely devastating.”

Fortunately for Jacob, Margot did eventually get him a present! When they wrapped filming, she said she gave him “a movie poster” — and not “a signed poster from one of [her] movies” as he joked. LOLz!

Everyone take notes from Jacob! This is how you do a grand, romantic gesture! Reactions, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments!
